MISCELLANEOUS GLASS PAPERWEIGHTS
 

5275G  Borowski - This is a contemporary paperweight with cameo glass of a whimsical goat in four colors on a frosted glass plaque. The surface has been frosted on the back of the paperweight leaving an unfrosted window that you can peer through to see a smaller image of the goat. It is 4" high by 3" diameter.

7034YB  Intertwined is the best way to describe the green and black glass within this 2.65" diameter paperweight. It came from "The Glassworks" Dublin, Ireland. Also has violet in it but needs displayed on a light box to bring it into view.

K183  This large magnum paperweight is signed and I get "James Gloubs 1993" as best I could make it out to be. It is an interesting weight with the rods and canes of various colors gracing the design. 
 

8386A   Joe Hamon Cherry paperweight with a White ground and two Cherries against the white ground, It is signed on the base with an embossed "Joe Hamon". A nice looking paperweight. 3.5" diameter x 2.25" high.

7776A  Bob Kimball Interesting Three Petal Red Flower on a green stem is an interesting presentation that is signed "BK" for Bob Kimball. 2.875" d. x 2.875" h.

 

7034B  Swedish Crystal "Turban" Paperweight. This clear weight in the shape of a turban is heavy and I believe it is lead crystal. An almost complete foil label reads "FM, Konstglas, Sweden". 4.25" x 4" x 2.875" h.

6140  C. MacKay Limited Edition upright paperweight with green grass and red blooms enhanced with an etched butterfly on the back. This is # 416 of 500 and measures 03.5" wide by 3.25 high.

8386F Roger Mays signed sulfide paperweight with an orange frit as the ground has double bongos.  An embossed Roger Mays signature is on the bottom.   3" d x 2.5" h.

7438H P. W. Myers Attractive Cut Floral Paperweight
This America paperweight reminds me of old Bohemian paperweights. It has a five petal white flower above two cobalt and one each white, red and orange flowers all in a green "pot". There are five side cuts and one on top. Artist signed "P. W. Myers, 1970" and "Facet - B. N. Suter". 3.375" d. x 2.625" h.

7394  This artist signed 3.6"paperweight has a cane swirling around inside . The cane is made out of various color canes placed together in a bundle which is heated so it is one large cane. The cane is  then placed on clear glass and encased in clear. The signature is "Mark Wager"

JW (JOHN WAYNE)

1608 This super sub-miniature signed "JW" paperweight is neat and a darling. The "JW" is for the artist, John Wayne. I think the piece was cut and polished and of course given beveled corners. The design has a white planter with five tiny blue flowers and a green burst of which comes the triumphant six petal orange.

6539  This orange 3.75" diameter magnum paperweight with bubbles can be studied and studied as to the bubbles placements. It isn't a new paperweight but not antique either. Put it on a light box or in indirect lighting and you have an amusing piece of glass.

183  At all but 4" in diameter I think we can classify this clear glass paperweight as being a magnum. The controlled bubbles are interesting as the top of the paperweight was pushed down and that causes the big bubble and an interesting formation of the small bubbles also resulting from the pushed down effort.
