SCHUSTER GLASS STUDIO

Ron and Penny Schuster have had a studio and gallery in the artist colony of Brown County, Indiana for over 35 years. Ron is a self-taught glass artist working in stained glass and blown glass. While the stained glass is available exclusively through Sweetwater Gallery in Nashville, the blown glass may be found in over 50 galleries nationwide.

A colorful antique weight from this famous French factory. There are color rods, twist and latticinio plus two millefiori canes. There are a few pin point and pin head dings on the top surface, otherwise perfect. 2 3/4" d. x 1 3/4" h.

ST. CLAIR TYPE

7925  St. Clair Type Magnum Paperweight with Four Pink and White Flowers - 4.25" d. x 4" h.  I believe this magnum paperweight was made by the St. Clair brothers. It has the look and feel of an older paperweight. There are four pink and white upright flowers spaced by four elongated bubbles and a white ground. Condition is good but there are blemishes around the bottom which wasn't perfectly blocked.

6241 St. Louis Faceted Paperweight - Has honeycomb faceting an etched floral bouquet on the top. Setting off the design is a royal blue ground. Excellent condition with very minor wear on the bottom and in the third row of facets there is a pin prick that is the result of a bubble exposed in the faceting process. These really are very minor and do not detract from the beauty of the weight. 2 7/8" d. x 1 1/2" h.
