Mike has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts/Ceramics, Sculpture from the University of Northern Colorado and a Master of Fine Arts/Ceramics degree from the Kansas State University. Juried, he has participated in International and National Exhibits and one-man shows winning various awards. His work was featured in the 1998 Rockport Publishers book, The Best of Pottery Two and is included in Sprint's corporate collection in Kansas City. He was accepted into the Sixth Annual Golden Ceramics Awards at the Yinkgo Museum in Taipai, Taiwan where his work remains in the permanent collection.
 

7290 Mike Lemke Large Raku Bowl. This is a beauty in copper with blue in the center edged in red, blue, yellow and copper. Lines form an irregular square decoration. Artist signed "Lemke". 13" d. x 4 1/4" h. 

6660 Lemke Very Large Raku Handled Vessel. This attractive extra large Raku handled vase is reddish copper with blue highlights, crosshatch copper decoration and various indented decorations. Artist signed "Lemke". 14 1/4" h. x 10 1/2" d.

This signed "Lemke" Raku vase with bright iridescent copper, blue-green and black has luster gold cross-hatch lines. The handles are basically iridescent green and the top rim a flat black.
