| | KITTY CANTRELL - CREATOR OF KITTY'S CRITTERS | | Award-winning artist and environmentalist Kitty Cantrell is known for her striking sculptures of North American wildlife. Intricately designed and detailed, her Mixed Media sculptures capture expressions of animals that have never known human touch. To ensure the authenticity and accuracy of her sculptures, Kitty spends numerous hours researching the animals paying close attention to subtle details such as the wing span or shape of a tail.
Kitty produces a rough sculpture out of soft clay to check for composition and form. She then painstakingly forms a master sculpture that is to scale and anatomically correct. This second sculpture is sent to the Legends/Genesis foundry in Los Angeles, California, where a resin cast is made and the manufacturing process begins.
Cantrell believes that her sculptures are a way for people to better understand the earth's wild creatures. Demonstrating her commitment to animals and wildlife, Kitty donates a portion of the proceeds from her art to the Nature Conservancy, the World Wildlife Fund and the Grounded Eagle Foundation. | | | | | ADAM JABLONSKI | | | Adam Jabłoński, born on April 29, 1936 in Wilczkowice, is an artist, glass technology diploma holder, who has been concerned with the artistic output in that area since 1952. He built a glass furnace according to his own technology and created a school of artistic mastery in which he trained tons of students. The master is not only an author of unique artistic products but he is also a top class unique glass production engineer having tons of patents on his account. Original products signed by Adam Jabłoński (every piece is hand-crafted and personally signed by Adam Jablonski, yet, patented and copy right protected) enjoy great interest on all continents. Being exported to 18 countries of the world, products are exceptionally popular even in the most well known glass-making centres in Italy, Scandinavia, France, USA, Canada and China. Because of the high quality of composition. the artist was invited to participate in big world exhibitions where, as a general rule, he won the most prestigious awards and gold medals. However, an invitation to the famous American museum of glass in Corning that also purchased quite a large collection of Jabłoński's compositions is the most appreciated by the master. Glass masterpieces of Adam Jabłoński are bought by wealthy and well-known people such as kings, presidents and prime ministers e.g. from Sweden, Spain, France, USA and Russia. Many a time, the Polish President ordered the artist's unique compositions so that when given to notables they would proudly represent the Polish art. At the moment, Adam Jabłoński is introducing his son Kamil Jabłoński to secrets of the art of artistic glass making.
