As an instructor and creator of handcrafted pottery, Marsha Koenig creates nicely finished pretty serving plates, bowls, other useful things and occasionally, funky stuff.  As each piece takes form she thinks about its' uses, how it will look finished and how it will feel to hold and use.

7340  Marsh Pottery Delightful Signed Flower Garden Bowl
7 3/4" d. x 3" h.  Applied to the outside of this bowl are flowers with an unglazed tan and brown finish. The upper exterior and the interior are glazed green. It is a delightful piece of pottery. There is a signature "chip" that reads "MB Koenig". NOT recommended for microwave or dishwasher.

Plate # 1 - 8" w. x 7 1/4" x 7/8" - The charming tan plate has brown speckling and a field of Black-eyed Susans trimmed with brown rope handles. It comes with a matching spreader. Signed "Marsh Pottery". The lead-free glazes happily go in the dishwasher and microwave.

505 Southwestern-Style Spirit Vessel - 3 1/2" h x 4  3/4" w
Made on the Potter's Wheel, the pot is porcelain clay, glazed with an off-white satin matt glaze. Signed Marsh Pottery incised into the clay. Decorated with leather thong and strung with handmade obsidian arrowheads, shell and stone fetishes.
