Chris Campbell  is a studio potter who has been working with colored porcelain since 1989. She learned the basics from Jane Peiser, a renowned porcelain artist from Penland, North Carolina.

Since this is such a demanding medium, there are very few potters who work with colored porcelain murrinis and neriage. You must give it your total attention during every step of creating. You must be obsessed with theprocess. Every step is slowed down or speeded up to suit the clay. The rewards for this level of patience are glowing vessels alive with soft color and light. Once you touch this work, you will be hooked. You will understand why collectors treasure colored porcelain
