Shekinah Clay, relates to the "Shekinah (Hebrew) Glory" of the Old Testament and has to do with spiritual light. I believe that art can be a powerful force of inspiration, blessing and healing in the presence of one's environment and it is always my highest hope that each and every one of my artworks serve in this way for all who view it and for the place in which it resides. Quite simply, I am passionate about working with clay as a medium of expression! I love what I do and highly desire that each piece I make serves to uplift the spirit of those who view it. I am motivated by the creative process itself and fully allow that process to lead the way in my life as an artist. I'm constantly growing artistically & applying new ideas/techniques and remain excited by the path that creativity makes known to me.

In 2006, I was commissioned by the National Bison Association to make trophy awards for their "Grand Champion Male, Female, etc." as well as the judge's appreciation awards.

The artist calls these little gems ''Baby Pots'' and she originally made them for display purposes as a change of scale for some of her larger pieces, but they quickly became a best seller and keep her busy making more of them! Average size is as stated, but shape and size vary a little as they are all hand thrown and vary from piece to piece.
